White Lies reveal new single "Believe It"
White Lies return with another cut of their forthcoming Five record with new track "Believe It".
Last month White Lies announced their upcoming Five album with the first single "Time To Give".
Today the trio return with a second glimpse of their new record, with new track "Believe It".
Speaking about their new offering, White Lies explain, "It’s about types of therapy, seen from a shifting perspective of those passionate towards it, those sceptical of it, and those out to make money from it. We wrote it mid-way through the sessions and it became an instant favourite of ours, it’s a four-minute “no nonsense” singalong with lots of ingredients we’ve used before so we hope our fans will love it.”
Five will be their first album since 2016's Friends, and lands almost a decade after their debut record.
The new album was recorded and written on both sides of the Atlantic, as White Lies returned to work with the producer of their first and third albums, Ed Buller.
Producer Flood and engineer James Brown (Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters) also contributed towards White Lies' forthcoming record, while past collaborator Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails) mixed their fifth LP.
White Lies are due to embark on a UK and European tour early next year, with a night at London's O2 Forum Kentish Town on 14 February. Find out more.
