White Lies announce new album with seven-minute track "Time To Give"
Nearly a decade on from their first album, White Lies return with news of their fifth album Five, and share lead track "Time To Give".
Having moved over to [PIAS Recordings], White Lies are ready to provide some new music, their first since 2016's Friends.
The grey-skied trio explain, "This is a mile stone record for White Lies. It marks our decade as a band, which has pushed us to expand our sound and reach new territory artistically - it marks the start of a new and exciting chapter for us."
Five was recorded and written on both sides of the Atlantic, as White Lies returned to work with the producer of their first and third albums, Ed Buller.
Producer Flood and engineer James Brown (Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters) also contributed towards White Lies' forthcoming record, while past collaborator Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails) mixed their fifth LP.
White Lies are due to embark on a UK and European tour early next year, with a night at London's O2 Forum Kentish Town on 14 February. Tickets go on general sale on 21 September from 9am. Find out more.
