Wet Leg have covered The Chats' 2017 song "Smoko" for triple j's Like A Version series.
While in Australia for their ongoing tour in support of their self-titled April debut, Wet Leg made a visit to triple j and took part in the Like A Version cover series. With them being in Australia, Wet Leg picked to cover The Chats' 2017 track "Smoko".
While speaking about their choice of song, Wet Leg's Hester Chambers revealed that she first heard The Chats' original through bandmate Rhian Teasdale, who called the accompanying music video "pretty iconic." Chambers also said, "The Chats are a beacon of joy and fun and not being too serious in a serious world… Seriously."
Earlier this month Wet Leg released the Soulwax remix of "Too Late Now".
