Westerman previews debut album with new track "The Line"
Westerman is back with "The Line", another soothing taster of his forthcoming debut album Your Hero Is Not Dead.
"The Line" is the seventh single to be shared from Westerman's debut LP, and lands after previous offerings "Your Hero Is Not Dead", "Waiting On Design", Think I’ll Stay", "Blue Comanche", "Easy Money" and "Confirmation".
Westerman explains of his latest track, "I was thinking about moral relativism when I wrote this. The ever-shifting parameters of what is and isn't acceptable. This applies to many things - gender, human rights, parenting, politics. I don't believe that this means there's no right and wrong, but normative values are constantly in flux - hopefully as we continue to be more compassionate."
Your Hero Is Not Dead will be Westerman's first collection of tracks since last year's Ark EP.
He recorded the LP with his close friend and producer Nathan Jenkins (A.K.A. Bullion) between Southern Portugal and London.
