
Weaves recreate Arcade Fire's "Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out)" with an obscure twist
Weaves add their own fuzzy stamp onto their Arcade Fire cover for Polaris Prize Cover Sessions
Reconstructed with raw reverb and fused together with jittery fuzz, Toronto's gritty group Weaves use their own wax to seal Arcade Fire's "Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out)".
As part of the Polaris Prize Cover Session series, Weaves continue to show their adament energy to pursue their sound and experiment creatively.
With this release being the first of three Polaris Prize Cover Sessions this year, the three tracks will later be pressed onto a promotion 10" release to be given away at select music store retailers when purchasing Polaris nominated music.
Their rendition of Arcade Fire's track is their first release since "Scream" in late 2017.
