Weapons and drugs found on 2 Chainz tour bus

Following last month’s 9-hour stand-off with police during which 2 Chainz was eventually arrested, local paper The Oklahoman now report that weapons and drugs were found on his tour bus during the incident.

The rapper protested his innocence after the event, tweeting “Don’t ask me ask OKC police department what they found on the bus” because “nuthn was found.” A search of the vehicle, however, has allegedly uncovered two semi-automatic pistols, a 12-gauge pump shotgun, a box of ammunition, prescription painkillers and marijuana residue. According to court documents, unprescribed hydrocodone and Flexeril were also found.

Initially pulled over due to a broken rear taillight, 2 Chainz was charged with obstructing a police officer alongside 10 other men, for reportedly refusing to co-operate when the officer claimed to smell marijuana. They were eventually released after paying $2,000 each in bail.

Additional charges are pending.
