We Are Scientists premiere new track “Make It Easy”
We Are Scientists release their new album TV En Francais on 3 March. Coming on the same day is their lead single “Make It Easy”, getting a first listen online today right here on Best Fit.
“It’s a real change of pace for us,” the band say of the track. “It’s got the usual We Are Scientists obsession with melody and listener gratification, but it feels like a more accomplished, nuanced pop song than the full-bore, ecstatic dance rock we’ve been known for in the past.”
“Maybe it’s just the intoxication of having worked a triangle into the song’s breakdown, toward the end, but, damn it, we really hit the nail on the head.” Safe to say they’re pretty happy with the results then.
The band will embark on a UK tour during March. Before then, stream “Make It Easy” right now beneath.
