Waxahatchee covers Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen and more on deluxe edition of Saint Cloud
Waxahatchee has released a deluxe edition of her Saint Cloud album today (29 March), which includes new covers of Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen and more.
Last Saturday (27 March) Waxahatchee's Saint Cloud turned one, and as Stereogum notes, Waxahatchee, real name Katie Crutchfield celebrated by hosting a livestream event where she performed the album in full.
Today (29 March) Crutchfield has returned with a deluxe edition of Saint Cloud that features three new covers. She covers Lucinda Williams' "Fruits Of My Labor", Dolly Parton's "Light Of A Clear Blue Morning" and Bruce Springsteen's "Streets Of Philadelphia".
Crutchfield's covers of Parton and Springsteen were recorded in summer last year, and all three covers feature production from Crutchfield and Brad Cook.
