Water brand Liquid Death release second punk album about why people hate the product
Punk water brand Liquid Death have announced their Greatest Hates, Vol. 2 album, a punk LP that features lyrics and song titles inspired by angry online comments about the water.
Liquid Death released their first album of angry online comments in May, titled Greatest Hates, and as Stereogum notes the brand recruited Gruesome drummer Gus Rios to write and record it.
Yesterday Billboard published a new piece on Greatest Hates, Vol. 2, which is of course a second album inspired by the angry comments directed at Liquid Death and its water in an aluminum can.
This time around Liquid Death are getting help from members of Rise Against, The Lawrence Arms, Alkaline Trio, The Bombpops, Anti-Flag and more for their 14-song punk LP.
Greatest Hates, Vol. 2 features some angry comment-inspired track titles, including "Your Product Is Dumb", "Unnecessary and Unimpressive", "Rather Murder Myself", "I Thought This Was Alcohol", "Good Try, Devil" (which features the lyrics: "LOL / LOL / LOL"), "Remove the Ad" and more.
