Watch Zane Lowe interview Kanye West about kids, fashion and Drake
Zane Lowe notoriously interviewed Kanye West in 2013, and now he's done it again.
This time round, Kanye's more grounded, but there are still choice quotes to be found.
He also revealed his distress after the passing of esteemed fashion professor, and one of his biggest inspirations, Louise Wilson: “I didn’t know we were going to lose her... and she told me, and she said, ‘You know, thank you for the times we came to performances and this is like really meant a lot to me, you know she would...”
Kanye on kids:
“Oh, I’m practicing really hard, I try as many times a day as I can. Nori this one is for you…you need a sibling!”
Kanye on fashion:
“I want to apologise to everyone right now because I believe season one might still be in that upper price point and there’s still the words ’exclusivity’ being thrown around...”
Kanye on his new album:
“It is still the struggle, you know, but the beauty from the struggle...”
Kanye on Paul McCartney:
“It’s all love and great energy, and positive energy and I like the differences of views in our approach to music...”
Kanye on Drake:
“He’s delivering a level of product to humanity that is of a high quality...”
Kanye on the Grammys:
“I hadn’t been in six years and the Grammys are definitely like an ex-girlfriend, soon as you get in the car with them, you want to go right back home...”
