Thurston Moore recently formed a new band ahead of his upcoming solo album release, performing live last night for the first time as a group.
The “Thurston Moore Band” - consisting of Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, Debbie Googe of My Bloody Valentine and Chrome Hoof’s James Sedwards - performed a secret show at London’s Cafe Oto. You can watch footage of “Detonation” below.
Moore’s new solo album The Best Day will be released via Matador in September.
