The Staves have performed their self-produced cut "Open" acoustically in session for 3ème Gauche.
We premiered the cut last month, saying that "the sister's voices stand out as a highlight as they weave stellar, mesmerising harmonies, gradually ascending to a monumental climax in unison. It's emotionally wrought, but never maudlin. There's an ounce of hope to discover."
Those harmonies are brought closer to the forefront as they strip back the other elements of the track for the barebones performance.
The Justin Vernon-produced LP If I Was is released 2 February on Atlantic.
