Watch the Nordic Playlist's Radio Bar live stream from 7-9 November
The Nordic Playlist are to stream their weekend-long Radio Bar live for those unable to trek to the north for this week's Iceland Airwaves festival.
The event will take place 7-9 November, and feature a range of broadcasts UK, Germany and Nordic guests - including Radio 1's Huw Stephens. There will also be live sessions from the likes of Jaakko Eino Kalevi, Byrta and Asgeir throughout the weekend, between the sets, discussions and showcases.
Nordic Playlist's editor Francine Gorman explained the idea behind the pop-up bar:
“This is a very exciting event, which will take the ‘discovery’ element of the Nordic Playlist to another level. We’ll be celebrating the diversity and talent of the Nordic region through shows hosted by renowned and respected radio DJs, as well as highlighting the artists and DJs that have been featured on the Nordic Playlist so far.”
