Watch The National predicting football results for BBC Sport
Currently embarking on a European tour, The National’s Bryce and Aaron Dessner recently stopped off at the BBC Sport studios to predict some football scores for this weekend’s Premier League matches.
Each week the BBC Football website pits celebrity guests against pundit Mark Lawrenson to see who can guess the most scores correctly. With the Manics’ Nicky Wire top of the leaderboard this season, The National’s Dessner twins decided to play it safe, with a Man City v Tottenham draw the only thing resembling an upset.
Check out their complete predictions beneath and watch a video of the guitarists showing their soccer knowledge here.
