Last night the National were join onstage by the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir during their Outside Lands set, who lent a noted non-skeletal hand to their song “Terrible Love.” You can watch the performance below.
Friday also marked the 18th anniversary of Jerry Garcia’s passing.
On a very-related note the National are assembling a super-team of guest stars to appear on their Dead covers album, which includes Bon Iver, the Walkmen, and Vampire Weekend.
Also, check out this video of the National playing with Bob Weir in California last year.
