The lead track from The Horrors third album Skying, which is available to stream over here, ‘Still Life’ retains a uniquely gloomy aesthetic courtesy of Farris Badwan’s droning vocals but is beset on all sides by expansive, cinematic synths and a distinctly new romantic atmosphere. The same can be said for their brand new video: directed by Oliver Murray it sees lucid dream like visions and psychedelic flickering landscapes intertwined with hazy imagery of the five piece.
Skying will be released on 11 July via XL Recordings.
