Sharon Van Etten has appeared in an episode of Funny or Die’s Throwing Shade, discussing things she does and doesn’t like.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it basically requires you to “throw shade” at things you disapprove of, so “Shade” is for things you dislike and “No Shade” others that you like. What we learn from the segment is that Van Etten likes guacamole, bangs and Van Halen, but dislikes some toddlers.
