Born in the remote and stunning surrounds of the Lake District it seems only right that 23-year-old James Bennett, aka Mozart Parties, set the scene of his first video there. A bass heavy, dense, hazy and gently infectious pop song ‘Black Cloud’ is due out via Merok Records on 7” on 31 October. The footage, directed by Rob Heppell, is simple in its charming, introspective nature with just enough colourful sparks and oddities to keep things enticing.
