Having found inspiration for their project in the beauty of the South Pacific Island, Marcus Joons and Daniel Tjäder stunning album number ‘Sa Sa Samoa’ seems to encapsulate everything Korallreven is about. Haunting and delicate choral vocals courtesy of Julianna Barwick and a children’s choir from the island of Samoa while the gentle melody slowly unfurls with piercing keys and momentous drums into a lavish, hypnotising and elative number. The new video from the Swedish duo, who released their debut album An Album by Korallreven last year, was directed by Filip Nilsson and is available to watch above.
