Watch Kanye West stop and listen to a young rapper during walk home
Though he has somewhat of a stormy history with being bothered out in public, a video has surfaced of Kanye West stopping briefly to listen to a young rapper on the streets of NYC while he and Kim Kardashian were walking toward their home in SoHo.
It’s a little tough to make out through all of the flashing, camera-clicks and general NYC street-noise, but the young man first approaches Kanye and references meeting him with a friend two years ago, noting that since then, he’s been working on his music. Kanye asks “how’s it sound now?” to which the man boldly replies “better than you could ever imagine” before spitting some lines to Yeezus himself. Kanye remains cordial throughout the whole affair, even stopping for a bit to let the man finish upon reaching the end of their walk. Watch below.
