A first glimpse of Jennifer Hudson as Aretha Franklin has been revealed in the new trailer for upcoming biopic RESPECT.
The first trailer for new Aretha Franklin biopic RESPECT has dropped, giving a glimpse of Jennifer Hudson starring as the late soul icon.
Hudson belts out an a cappella version of the legendary song while surrounded by golden letters spelling out the film's title.
Aretha Franklin died aged 76 in August 2018 at her home in Detroit.
The biopic will also star Forest Whitaker, Marlon Wayans, Audra McDonald, Marc Maron, Tituss Burgess, Saycon Sengbloh, Hailey Kilgore, Skye Dakota Turner, Tate Donovan, and Mary J. Blige.
RESPECT is due to arrive in UK cinemas on 21 August 2020.
