Watch Hinds perform Record Store Release "Davey Crockett" in session, exclusively on Best Fit
Hinds are unveiling a live session version of their half of the upcoming Record Store Day split with The Parrots, exclusively on Best Fit.
It's a cover of Thee Headcoats' 1992 track, originally out on Damaged Goods. The Parrots contribution premiered recently on Best Fit, their version of The Almighty Defenders' "All My Loving".
This is the first time the track is getting a proper release, after having spent considerable time in their live sets. It's been recorded with The Vaccines' Árni Árnason, as well as Johan Englund.
Hinds also recently played a Black Cab Session, which you can check out here.
You'll be able to grab The Parrots x Hinds' Split#1 from tomorrow, Record Store Day (18 April) at independent record shops. It's limited to 750 copies only, and will be put out by Lucky Number in the UK, and Burger Records in the US. Speaking about the split, the bands released a joint statement: “We are seven kids. We are friends. We are from Madrid. We always carry a knife in our pockets and we are a gang.”
