There’s always that awkward bit on BBC’s Andrew Marr Show where politicians are forced to watch bands play live whilst trying to nod along and look hip. It was David Cameron‘s turn this weekend, appearing on the billing alongside LA sisterly trio Haim.
Haim, who release their debut album Days Are Gone next week, struck up an unlikely friendship with the UK PM, dedicating their performance to him, before he returned the compliment by tweeting: “Great to meet @HAIMtheband on Marr – looking forward to listening to the album they gave me.”
