Watch Future Islands' full set from Pitchfork Music Festival Paris
Future Islands' set from Pitchfork Music Festival Paris is available to watch in full now.
Taking place on Halloween, Samuel T. Herring & Co. takes advantage of the serendiptious scheduling to go all-out with his black metal yowls and Transylvanian accent. The whole band are garbed up in apropos outfits, although Herring's makeup is washed off by torrents of sweat pretty swiftly. Not your standard show, by any means - how often do you see werewolves drum? Probably only a few times a year at most, we'd wager.
Future Islands' "Seasons (Waiting On You)" was crowned out Song Of The Year, and you can read just why here.
The set was filmed by La Blogothèque for Pitchfork.tv.
