Watch: Explosions In The Sky – Be Comfortable Creature
Taken from their latest album Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, ‘Be Comfortable Creature’ is the latest Explosions In The Sky number to be given a visual counterpart courtesy of band’s long time friend Paul Logan. With percussion only kicking in around the 3:30 minute mark, the song’s delicate harmony and soft, looping strings slowly pick up momentum as the camera follows around a man dressed in a furry, orange animal/alien/muppet-esque suit.
On hearing the song for the first time Logan said: “As the song unfolded so did the story – I just watched it. It made me remember the fears of growing up, of feeling like an outcast in a small town, of being lonely, of wanting to be a kid again, and of being in love. A couple of months later, a few friends and myself went out and over a month we filmed it.”
