Watch Du Blonde and Future Islands' Sam Herring perform "Mind Is On My Mind" live [Premiere]
We're premiering footage of Du Blonde's of "Mind Is On My Mind" with Future Islands' Samuel T. Herring from the only time it's been performed.
This is the only time that this song has been performed live with both vocalists, and was recorded in Newcastle while Du Blonde was touring with Future Islands earlier this year.
The rollicking garage rock is punctuated by Du Blonde's darting howl, until Herring saunters on stage, bellowing with guttural grace and doomy charisma - this might well be the only time they perform it live, given the present lack of serendipitous circumstances that allowed this rendition to occur.
"Mind Is On My Mind" features on Du Blonde's wonderful Mute debut Welcome Back To Milk.
