Teaming up with the Roundhouse Experimental Choir, South London’s Deptford Goth has recorded a beautifully ethereal one-off performance of ‘Feel Real’ in The Asylum Chapel, a ”hidden space” in Peckham.
Part of Noisey‘s You Need To Hear This series, the producer – real name Daniel Woolhouse – has described the appeal of the setting as being about “doing things in different environments”, perfectly complementing a track on which melodies and instruments are replaced with vocals.
Watch the performance below. Deptford Goth’s latest album, Life After Defo, is out now.
