Following November's release of a clip of Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) covering Alvvays' "Archie, Marry Me", a full performance has been released. It was performed as part of a fundraiser for Seattle's artistic community, and this new recording was captured by local radio station KEXP.
Gibbard describes the song as his "favourite song of the year".
Yesterday (12 January), Death Cab For Cutie announced details of their eighth studio album, titled Kintsugi, set for release on 30 March via Atlantic. More details can be found here.
