Breton have been on the radar for a little while, with the south east London collective of musicians and film makers having released some intriguing tracks, remixed songs for Maps & Atlases and Local Natives, and recently supported Tom Vek on tour.
Over the last few weeks, the band have been releasing teaser clips, counting down to today when they finally revealed the video for the first track to appear from their forthcoming album. ‘The Commission’ is a slow and steady piece, featuring vocals bathed in reverb and bass synths woven together by electronic beats, all creating a mesmerising soundtrack for the video made to accompany it.
More details about the album to come soon, but in the meantime, check out the video for ‘The Commission’ and to hear a bit more from Breton, have a listen to the free download of ‘The Pace’ below.
