Watch Blackaby cover The Kinks for Best Fit’s secret sessions at End of the Road
Despite not being on the End of the Road Festival 2021 line-up, London-based artist Blackaby took part in Best Fit's secret sessions at the festival and covered The Kinks' "Strangers", which is available to watch now.
Blackaby, the moniker of London-based artist William Blackaby, hasn't released new music since last year's Christmas single "Plastic Misteltoe" and August's "She’ll Make Some Time On A Monday". His debut EP What's On The TV? arrived in 2020, and he followed it up with his second EP Everything's Delicious in April last year.
He'll play some UK shows late next month in Norwich, Bedford, Leicester, Sheffield and York. Head to songkick.com for the full list of dates.
Best Fit's secret sessions have become a key part of End of the Road each year, bringing together artists from across the line-up in a series of short sets, exclusive cover, collaborations, and live interviews and Q&As. Past guests have included Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Moses Sumney, Alex Cameron, Laura Marling, Patti Smith, and Frightened Rabbit - who played a now iconic version of "The Modern Leper".
