Watch a PETA video that will screen during Morrissey's U.S tour
Morrissey’s well known for many things, but in recent years he’s perhaps best known for being quite vocal with regards to animal rights. To that effect, PETA has shared an animated video they produced called “Someday,” which will screen at the former Smiths frontman’s upcoming US performances this summer.
As per its YouTube description, the Anna Saunders-animated video “takes viewers on a harrowing journey as they witness—through the eyes of one terrified bird—the typical experience of chickens raised for meat. Will our young chick survive what 8 billion chickens each year cannot?” The video features the singer’s own “I Know It’s Gonna Happen Someday,” from his 1992 album Your Arsenal.
Morrissey has a new album in the works titled World Peace Is None Of Your Business, due out 15 July on Harvest Records.
