As previously reported, the life of late rapper Tupac Shakur (aka 2Pac) is set to become the focus of a new Broadway play, with a behind-the-scenes clip now airing online.
Shakur, who died of gun wounds back in 1996, is the inspiration for one of the characters in Holler If Ya Hear Me, written by Toss Kreidler, directed by Kenny Leon and choreographed by Wayne Cilento. It’s script lends from a book by Todd Kreidler as its source material.
The production, set in a Midwestern U.S inner city, will premiere at the Palace Theatre in New York on 19 June.
