Watch a new, two-part video for TOKiMONSTA's “Soul to Seoul”
Electro-DJ TOKiMONSTA has shared a new, two-part video for her track “Soul to Seoul,” from her 2013 album Half Shadows.
The track is essentially given two separate music videos, in that the full song plays out for each one. Both show closeups of the faces of several people, each with a rather stone-faced look, mostly keeping still as life proceeds around them, occasionally cutting to a silhouette of TOKiMONSTA. Where the videos differ is in the swapping of the camera’s zooms (whomever was zoomed in on in the first is zoomed out from in the second, and vice versa). Though it seems a minute difference, it does add a new layer of trippy-ness to the already eerie visuals. Check out both below.
Half Shadows is out now via Ultra Records.
