Tom Williams, of Tom Williams & The Boat, is soon to release a brand new side project record: a stripped-back solo mini-album called New Guitar that sees him focus on the "charming intensity of his lyrical songwriting".

New Guitar also features Ant Vicary (from The Boat), and Sarah Maycock, Fiona Keeler and Catherine Black on piano, vocals and cello respectively. It will be released on Tom’s own Wire Boat Recordings label and can be pre-ordered along with a host of exclusive offers via this PledgeMusic campaign, which has already well exceeded it’s target and shows no sign of slowing.

We've got an exclusive mini-documentary of Williams and pals slaving away on the record, which features snippets of new music, interviews and footage straight from the studio.
