Washed Out announces new album 'Paracosm' for August
Washed Out, aka electronic musician and chillwave graduate Ernest Greene, has revealed he’ll release his second album this summer.
Following on from 2011 debut Within and Without, new effort Paracosm is scheduled for release via Weird World in Europe and Sub Pop in North America come 12/13 August.
Paracosm was recorded with Animal Collective and Deerhunter producer Ben Allen and is said to contain over 50 different instruments as well as samples. A far cry from his bedroom producer background, then.
The album’s title refers to the notion of creating an imaginary world in one’s mind, which might also give you a little idea what to expect.
