Psychedelic journeymen Wand have unveiled "The Gift", the first taste of new EP Perfume.
The Los Angeles-based troupe only released latest record Plum in September last year, but they've back in the saddle already with a seven-track short-player full of their signature psych-rock mastery.
A rather abstract Bandcamp blurb reads: "Smells like 30 new minutes of new music via seven new electric hues, shocks of light that flagrantly provoke the dark, a posy’s clutch of purple, fuchsia, green, and snowy white that curl against the stench of plague. With 'Perfume', Wand present olfactory events that recall futures and pasts."
Tracklist:
- Perfume
- Town Meeting
- The Gift
- Hiss
- Pure Romance
- Train Whistle
- I Will Keep You Up
The Perfume EP is out 25 May.
