Vince Staples unveils Mustard-produced new track "Magic"
Vince Staples is back with new track "Magic", which features production from Mustard and is also the first taste of his upcoming album Ramona Park Broke My Heart.
"Magic" is Staples' first new material since featuring on Raveena's "Secret" last month, and is produced by Mustard.
The new song is also the first outing from Staples' new album Ramona Park Broke My Heart, which will follow last year's self-titled album, and is dedicated to his hometown - Ramona Park in Long Beach, California.
Staples said of the album title, "It’s symbolic of home, and everyone has a home. Even though it’s very personal to me, everyone can relate to it. That’s why I thought it would work for this chapter."
Discussing his self-titled album and Ramona Park Broke My Heart, Staples added, "There’s a direct correlation. They were kind of created at the same time. I was in a similar state of mind. I’m still working through things and the questions that life poses. This album will make even more sense if you heard the previous one. This one has more answers."
