Villagers stream new LP Darling Arithmetic in full
Villagers are streaming their long-awaited LP Darling Arithmetic in full ahead of its release next week.
The follow up to 2013's Mercury-nominated {Awayland}, Darling Arithmetic has been atop a wealth of excitable wishlists for many moons. The LP was written, recorded, produced and mixed by mainman Conor O'Brien at his converted barn loft in Malahide (North of Dublin), and reportedly spans a variety of topics: "desire, obsession, lust, loneliness and confusion, and deeper into philosophical and existential territory, across a cast of lovers, friends, family and even strangers."
Darling Arithmetic is released on 13 April via Domino.
You can stream the album in full via NPR here, and watch the video for its lead single "Courage" below. Villagers' upcoming UK/EU tour dates can be found afterwards.
