Victoria Beckham is the world's most-loved Spice Girl, according to Twitter
Victoria Beckham has been named as the world's most-loved Spice Girl, a new Twitter study has revealed.
The Twitter analysis, provided by SlotsOnlineCanada, shows Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham, has received more positive tweets over the past decade than the other Spice Girls.
According to a press release, the study coincides with the group's upcoming 25th anniversary of their debut album, and was conducted by compiling tweets mentioning any Spice Girl over the last 10 years, and giving a "positivity sentiment score" to each member to determine who was the most popular.
A lot of the tweets praised Posh Spice for her work outside of Spice Girls, including her fashion brand, Fashion Week and social appearances.
Melanie C and Mel B came in second and third place on the popularity list, while Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton were ranked fourth and fifth.
The new Twitter study comes after 2018's YouGov survey in the UK that asked 31,000 British people about their favourite Spice Girl member. 37% voted for Baby Spice, aka Emma Bunton, while only 12% voted for Beckham.
