Vampire Weekend and Danielle Haim cover Thin Lizzy
On Sunday (29 July) Vampire Weekend brought out Danielle Haim to perform Thin Lizzy's "The Boys Are Back In Town" at Japan's Fuji Rock Festival.
Vampire Weekend have enjoyed being back on stage this summer as their festival appearances keep bringing fresh covers of classic songs.
During their 16-track set at Japan's Fuji Rock Festival on 29 July they were joined on stage by Danielle Haim, before dipping into an infectious rendition of Thin Lizzy's "The Boys Are Back In Town".

Making their comeback with a series of festival appearances, Vampire Weekend shared their Sunday bill with Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, CHVRCHES, Dirty Projectors, Hinds, Kali Uchis and more.
The Haim singer and guitarist, Danielle Haim, was brought on by Vampire Weekend to perform the Thin Lizzy cover, before dropping into Vampire Weekend's "Obvious Bicycle", taken from their 2013 release Modern Vampires of the City.

Earlier this year Vampire Weekend dished out covers of Dusty Springfield's "Son of the Preacher Man", The Velvet Underground's "Sunday Morning", and a seven-minute-long "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" into The Beatles' "Here Comes The Sun" at California’s Libbey Bowl in Ojai.
