Unknown Mortal Orchestra share new single "Weekend Run"
Unknown Mortal Orchestra are back with new single "Weekend Run", their first official outing of 2021.
"Weekend Run" follows last December's "SB-08", which continued their annual instrumental tradition, but marks Unknown Mortal Orchestra's first official single since their 2018 albums IC-01 and Sex & Food.
Ruban Nielson says of the song, "At the end of the day I don't take for granted that I have the perfect job - I truly work to make music that will set someone's day right and I think that shines through on "Weekend Run"."
Over the past couple of years Unknown Mortal Orchestra have also collaborated with the likes of Aminé, Gorillaz and Free Nationals, as well as remixing Westerman's "Drawbridge" and Soccer Mommy's "circle the drain".
