Umm so those Arcade Fire fidget spinners are totally real
Remember the Arcade Fire fidget spinners that looked like they were probably #fakenews? Turns out they're real.
Arcade Fire's ridiculous promo campaign for recent LP Everything Now threw up some A-grade hatebait, but few things drew ire like the poorly designed fad toys that cost $110.
Despite looking pretty fucking not real (they were mysteriously sold out the second they emerged online and the actual product was incredibly flawed, plus the price tag...), they are real - albeit sans USB functionality. They don't cost $110 either; they cost just $10 in real life, with all profits going towards Haiti (no cause specified).
All profits to Haiti!!!!!! #fidgetlife
