Tyler the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt replace Brand New at Reading and Leeds festivals
Following the announcement yesterday that Brand New were cancelling their entire upcoming European tour, due to “insurmountable personal issues”, one of the festivals they were set to play, Reading and Leeds, have swiftly replaced Jesse Lacey and co with two members from hip-hop collective Odd Future.
Earlwolf is the side project and collaboration of Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt, who curiously also just cancelled European dates, including Glastonbury, after contracting pneumonia.
However, now the duo will be taking Brand New’s place with Earl thought to be fully recovered by the festival’s start at the end of August.
Also added to the festivals’ bill are Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats on the Rock Stage, Crowns on the Lock Up Stage and a Bag Raiders DJ set on the Dance Stage.
