Workaholic Ty Segall has teamed up with sax-playing pal Mikal Cronin for sassy new track "The Main Pretender".
"The Main Pretender" is out now and it follows a string of seemingly standalone singles - "My Lady's On Fire", "Meaning" and "Alta".
The blurb on Bandcamp doesn't give much away, but it does hint at more to come: "As Ty switches gears from rock to punk to pop music and then elsewhere, a wealth of great songs and singing and music is coming down fast; later we'll have time to think about it. For now, ponder this new one..."
Earlier this summer Segall released a new EP to raise money for the ACLU. Check it out.
