Two Door Cinema Club return with vibrant pop banger "Talk"
Two Door Cinema Club have shared the first taste of their next chapter with playful new single "Talk".
Having teased their next album last month with a short clip, and revealing billboards in cities all over the world (including an interactive one in London), Two Door Cinema Club have finally shared their first new track since 2016's Gameshow.
The new offering arrives with a colourful video directed by Max Siedentopf. Speaking about the new single, vocalist Alex Trimble says, "I love the pop thing. I love experimenting and going to different places, I love doing things that are a little bit wonky and I love the idea of doing something we haven’t done before, why can’t we do all of those things at once? That’s what it was, doing whatever felt right… It sounds like Two Door Cinema Club – not a Two Door Cinema Club there’d ever been before but that’s what I love. We can always do something new but it always feels like something we’ve done."
The trio's new offering was recorded and produced in London and LA with longtime collaborator Jacknife Lee (U2, The Killers, REM).
