Two Aphex Twin posters have appeared in London's Elephant and Castle station
Two billboards with a trippy Aphex Twin advert have appeared in London's Elephant and Castle station, provoking speculation over a new release.
The trippy illusion prolongs the tube station walls, making it seem like a seperate tunnel with the Aphex Twin logo in the centre.
Passers by have been taking photos of the billboards, speculating that it could be building towards a new release.

The billboards aren't anything new in terms of interesting advertising techniques. In 2014 Aphex Twin's Syro was initially promoted with a blimp hovering over London.
His 2016 EP Cheetah was also promoted obscurely. Aphex Twin had his own booth at the 2016 Summer NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Show.
In 2016 Aphex Twin also released "tnodvood104", which has since been removed from his Soundcloud.
