Twin Sister hint at new material to come via Twitter
While Long Island Dream-pop outfit Twin Sister have seemingly been dormant since the 2011 release of their debut LP In Heaven, singer Andrea Estella recently played an important role in the Veronica Mars movie as pop star Bonnie Deville. Also featured in Veronica Mars was a trio of Twin Sister tracks (mysteriously credited as “Mr. Twin Sister”), including one previously unreleased tune “Holding My Breath.” And today, the band’s Twitter has shared word of a “present” to come on Tuesday.
Alongside “Holding My Breath,” the band’s “All Around And Away We Go” (from 2010’s Color Your Life EP) is featured in the movie, as well as a re-tooled version of their “I Want A House” (from 2008’s Vampires With Dreaming Kids EP).
Below, hear “Holding My Breath,” plus see the relevant tweets. More to come on Tuesday, perhaps?
