Twin Peaks unveil "Oh Mama", a song about "the moon and lunacy"
Twin Peaks are back with "Oh Mama", the final preview of their forthcoming album Lookout Low.
"Oh Mama" is the third single to be lifted from Lookout Low, after "Ferry Song" and "Dance Through It".
Vocalist and guitarist Clay Frankel says of the new song, ""Oh Mama" is a song about the moon and lunacy. We did three takes and used the first. I had a loose plan for the lyrics. Some of them I made up as I went along. For the video we made a swamp bar. We hit a few costume shops in Chicago and got some stuff. We made things blue and sometimes gold and we hope you enjoy it."
Their new record will follow on from their 2017 Sweet '17 Singles compilation.
Lookout Low record is Twin Peaks' fourth studio album, and was recorded at Monnow Valley Studio in Monmouth, South Wales, with legendary producer Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, Kings of Leon, Laura Marling, White Denim).
