Twin Peaks soundtrack to be reissued on vinyl
Get ready for Angelo Badalamenti's hit score from Twin Peaks to be reissued to vinyl for the very first time.
Twin Peaks is set to reissue its highly distinctive and unique soundtrack on a coffee coloured vinyl, a direct reference to the protagonist of the show, Dale Cooper. The artwork was designed by Sam Smith and given full approval by David Lynch paying further homage to the series through reference to the tiling of the Black Lodge from the show.
The cult hit television series gave birth to an evocative soundtrack curated through collaboration between Lynch and Badalamenti. The duo worked together on a number of other projects, but this is perhaps the most successful and famous end product.
The show is making a return to screens next year staring Trent Raznor, Sky Ferreria and Sharon Van Etten.
The reissue is expected to arrive next week on 10 August online via Mondo, hitting retail stores 9 September.
