Tune-Yards, Questlove, My Morning Jacket & more to cover Fela Kuti tracks for AIDS charity
AIDS awareness charity, the Red Hot Organization are bringing out a new compilation in memory of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti - featuring the likes of Tune-Yards, Questlove, My Morning Jacket and more.
RED HOT + FELA is due for release on 8 October, with a star-studded cast taking on tracks by the late Nigerian musician.
Also set to contribute are the likes of Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard, TV On The Radio members and Chance the Rapper.
